TuFlamenco

Tuflamenco focuses on two main fields: education and performance. Inma Montero and me founded in 2018 after many years of experience within the performing and teaching flamenco scene in Scotland. The academy is based in Edinburgh but we also provide classes in different Scottish cities, such as Dundee, Glasgow, Perth and Aberdeen amongst others. Tuflamenco’s passion, love and dedication for this art is contagious; our company has grown very quickly and successfully and we love trying to make a difference to the lives of our young, and not so young, flamenco lovers. We see them blossom and grow in confidence and ability, with many becoming ‘obsessed’ by our activities! We have successfully delivered many professional performances and shows, some of which have premiered at the world-famous Edinburgh Fringe Festival where our artists have been taking part for over a decade and have received many 5-star ***** reviews. In fact, our experiences at the Fringe have played a key role in our decision to create Tuflamenco in 2018 and produce our own shows.

In TuFlamenco Academy we offer dance, guitar, singing and compas classes in various cities & venues around Scotland. The classes and workshops can be individual or for groups, can be delivered regularly or just as a one off and are designed for people of all ages and levels, including complete beginners. We welcome new students at different points in the year so don’t hesitate to get in touch if you want to join us. Private classes are also available for individuals and small groups. These can be in a hired studio or in any of the venues we work with regularly. Our classes are suitable for all whether you have danced before or are a complete novice; the teacher will support you and tailor the lesson to your needs as much as possible. All the classes are held in well suited venues and studios across Scotland and are taught with real passion, dedication, discipline, love and experience.
